03/04/03 | Russ Dodge | Just to start some minds working. I believe Wes Pulse surfaced at Reading Fairgrounds driving a stock car with a '39 Chevy coupe body in the late 60's.. I also recall that he worked for Ken Brenn Sr.in the garage. Truth of fiction can anyone add to the story? Thanks, Russ Dodge |

THE MID TO LATE 60'S @ READING,MIDDLETOWN & FLEMINGTON SPEEDWAYS IN A 39 CHEVY COUPE #
20, THEN TURNING THE SEAT OVER TO DRIVER FREDDY ADAMS. WES & HIS PARTNER JOE WETMOORE LET FREDDY DRIVE FOR A YEAR OR SO BEFOR PARTING WAYS. WES WORKED FOR KEN BRENN SR. AS A SUPERINTENDENT FOR HIS CONSTRUCTION FIRM, AND WORKED WITH KENNY WHEN HE WAS CHANGING FROM SPRINT CARS TO DIRT MODS. WES & HIS WIFE OF 54 YEARS ELAINE ARE DOING WELL, RETIRED & LIVING IN SOUTH FLORIDA. |
12/13/06 | Anthony IV | Hay Ed P - you know Wes pretty good! I think there's a good reason for that. I know Wes pretty good myself because he worked on another modified in the early 70's. He was then, and still is today a great guy. I have had great times with his entire family. |
