03/16/03 | Bud Fischer | Pete Frazee DOMINATED at Oldbridge for a few seasons during the mid-to-late fifties. There were several bodies and chassis for this car. The car left the pits shortly after the feature and was brought to the shop in Rahway, where the windows were covered. Very secretive operation. He was unbeatable. |
03/29/04 | Dottie Seubert | This car was owned and built by Cal Hoehle of Rahway
NJ. Pete Frazee drove the car and won many races. Cal and Pete were
Brother-in-laws and both loved racing. Just a little history about Pete: He drove not only for Cal but he drove for the Gundeckers car #'s 124-125-126-127. Gubdecker had 4 cars always ready for Pete to drive. He also drove the #41 from 1957 to 1959 for Joe Racz and the #68 for Woddie Johnson from 1960 to 1964. In "57" in #41 Pete was in a accident with Bill McCarthy in Oldbridge and got 3rd degree burns and still went on that year to win 3 championships @ Belmar, Oldbridge, & Wall stadum. As most of you know Pete Frazee is now in the Eastern Motorsport Halls of Fame. He was inducted in 1999. |
