| Comments: | Comments provided by Russ: This is a picture of George Harrison after winning the 1st feature on a twin card show at Alcyon Speedway on September 5, 1958. NASCAR official Bob Hill shakes his hand as Dick Sapp looks on. The copper colored Sussex Studebaker X was always a good competitor at Alcyon. This was George's only feature win at Alcyon. Later they switched to the '53 "Bullet Baker" style body which was lower and stream lined. This is a Bob Sweeten Photo. Thanks, Russ Dodge |
