05/28/03 Jim Murrow I never saw this car run, but I remember Bob Williams driving a number 711, at Alcyon in the late 50s. He was quite a driver. I don't know if it's the same guy, though
06/01/03 Tom Berry Jr. I don't think they were the same Bob Williams. The Bob Williams that drove the v8 was and still is from North Jersey (New Milford) he was the brother -in -law of my Uncle Bill Berry.
06/29/03 BILL I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS CAR WITH TONY BATTLE AT THE CONTROLS AT HINCHLIFF STADIUM IN PATERSON NJ IN THE LATE FORTYS.
08/12/07 Beyond Z I'M THE LATE TONY BATTLES OLDEST SON DAVID.MY DAD PASSED AWAY FROM CANCER IN 1981. A REAL MAN'S MAN.

I REMEMBER TOM BERRY'S GARAGE WHEN I WAS A LITTLE BOY IN ORADELL, NEW JERSEY.  IT WAS AN AWESOME PLACE FOR A 6 YEAR OLD. HEARD ABOUT THIS CAR BUT FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN THE PICTURE OF IT. THANKS!
