Comments: | Comment from Russ: When many people head North to check out Fall Foliage, Ernie Gesell towed to South Jersey to check out the "Green Stuff". Coming from Norwich. Conneticut, we see Ernie in this photo at Alcyon Speedway in Pitman, N.J. 0n September 4, 1950. While in the area, Ernie took 2 features, one on October 1, 1950 and one the following week, at the new Power Speedway (Pleasantville). I wonder how he could make such a trip without a 40 foot hauler? |

01.24.11 | Herb Yonkers | I seem to remember a Flying Zero running at Orange County Fair Speedway (Victory Speedway back then) Mid sixties. Number was done just the same. Ford coupe with a flathead real runner too, Driver was Dick Kaiser |
01.24.11 | Ed Duncan | He flat towed all the way. I bet it took a while to tow from Conn. to South Jersey with out Interstates. Great picture. |
