| 04.03.12 | Russ Dodge | More information about the Tiona 64 car can be found on page 1 of the 50's section under "Jackie and Tas" and Les Farley. Bill Wark was the first regular driver and was replaced by Les Farley. However, Tas won at Flemington in it and Jackie at Alcyon. Otto Harwi ran it also. Otto would have liked to have driven it steady but owner Barry Alrich could not provide a second motor as backup. Otto wouldn't drive it steady because of that. The car eventually ended up being an Ambrosia 026. This 64 car only ran during the 1959 season but was very successful. |
