11/22/04 Paul Irving That's Bud Marl in the #03, 1954 and 1956 track champion at Middletown, still called Victory Speedway then.  My father had worked for Bud and took me to Bud's garage in Pine Bush NY.  It was such a thrill for me to be in that garage on Sunday morning with Bud's car still covered with track dirt from the night before.  I was under 10 years old,  Hooked Forever !!!
12/17/05 Bobby Walz The 693 was driven and owned by Jud Swain from Peekskill, NY.    It had a 296 cu. in. flathead in it with 4 carburators on methanol.
05/08/08 Bonnie Collins As per question about the picture in Middletown NY, I can identify the 03 which was Orange and Cream colored if my memory takes me back and was driven by Bud Marl. That is the only one I can obviously recall....
07/05/08 George Stewart I worked on the frame of Bud Marl's 03 during the 50's and the actual colors were yellow and red. Bud liked the red because it was the same as Esso and he was an Esso dealer in Pine Bush.
