photo taken of Ken "Bones" Marriott with Tom Grbac's Circle7 car. The date I
believe is July 4, 1948, at Flemington. Ken (from Baltimore) went on to be quite an
accomplished driver taking the NASCAR title in 1957. Many remember Tom Grbac for promoting races at New Egypt (Fort Dix) Speedway. He did however promote at Flemington and Old Bridge also earlier on. |
