| Comments: | Comment from Russ: Neat and clean is the only way to describe the #81 Sportsman driven by Russ Warrington. This Bob Farlee print, taken at Alcyon Speedway in 1958, shows the car in all its beauty. The color combination was a little different as was the coupe. Real "Old Timers" will recognize it as a 1938 Ford. Basically the same as a '37 with the exception of the fenders and hood. I thought this "Most Wanted" photo should be shared with everyone. Sometimes I revisit the many great photos on 3Wide and check them out again. This car is a favorite and also brings up the subject of those great lettering jobs that local sign painters did in the 50’s and 60’s. |
