Best I can do on this one is a wild guess - - how about
Jack Helget, Sr. He drove a 71C modified - - both photos I have access to are coupes - -
not a sedan. I know he drove at East Windsor but the track in the photo looks like
Flemington. The hub rail is three boards high - - Windsor's was two. The car in the photo
also looks like a novice/sportsman car and not a modified. Like I said - - a guess. |

Jack Helget Jr. checked this photo and
confirmed it was not his father in the 71C. Jack remembers the coach in the picture was
orange and white and was possibly driven by a driver named Len or Les Brown. |

Lookin at this particular sedan, this is possibly
another racer out of Staten Island. I believe hia name was Mike Cangro. I will check with
George LeBlanc on this. Really enjoying your "vault" Many, many memories of the
"Good Ole Days" |

Could this possibly be Wayne Covert? I could be
way off on this one, but that's my guess. |

I think the driver might be Len Brown? If this
isn't Len, he drove this car at Bridgeport in the mid seventies. I remember Len was
seriously injured in the car when he flipped in turn two and the seat broke lose in the
car. |

This is not Wayne Covert. He never drove
this car. His numbers were 10B and 10C |
