10.11.13 | John Fahey | Les Farley was one of the smoothest sportsman drivers at Flemington in the1960s. The sportsman started in front of the modifieds in the feature and heats, and Les was always a challenge for modified drivers like Tasnady, McLaughlin, Cagle, etc. to pass. The #4 car was Owned by Alfie Silliman and kept in Annandale, NJ. You might remember that they always occupied the first pit spot inside the Turn 1 pit entrance. Alfie and Les were fun-loving Individuals who liked to have a good time. |
