Comments: I don't remember the sedan, but the black #29 coupe was a staple back in the early and mid 70's.   This is a great picture with the crew in front looking like they're pushing Charlie back out to do battle again at what I think is probably Nazareth Speedway.  Not sure what the "Join Here" sign in the background was referring to and am interested if any of you guys might know.

07/06/03 John Mc This is from Nazareth when the pits were up the hill next to the grandstand.  I could be wrong, but the crew guy on the right looks a little like Skip Turyonas, who was from Milford as was Shire.....??? JMc
12/31/04 Tom Tinsman I believe Charlie built this sedan in the late 60's. Charlie was good friends with Frankie Scheinder and many fans thought this car was the same sedan Frankie had built around the same time period with a new paint job.

Charlie has an Auto Repair buisness in Holland Township New Jersey, and on occasion is seen at Tug Hill New York on a Snowmobile.

03.23.10 Richard Charlie began his career at Nazareth with this fine example of a coach. As he began to win it got even neater. It was always a pleasure to see up and comers like Charlie mix it up with the veterans and succeed.
