Comments: This could have took honors in our "What a Body!" trivia challenge.   Looks like Wayne and the crew were using a little aerodynamics.  (Didn't know you guys had access to a wind tunnel back then!  Another neat, unique looking car from the Wayne Young Collection -  Thanks Wayne!

07.24.03 Wayne Young THEY MADE ME PUT A PIECE OF TIN OVER THE SPOILER ON THIS CAR! THEY SAID IT WAS ILLEGAL. WAYNE
09.10.09 fltlnjok This car showed up at the Nazareth small track one Sunday and embarrassed EVERYONE. I don't remember who drove, but you could hear that 427 Ford cammer over every other car including Leon Manchester's Dodge Hemi. Later on I think Joe Kelly drove it at Flemington. The car had a huge whitewall tire on the right front. It always ran like the dickens, but never seemed to have much success. Lord! What imagination the builders had then. Find a car, find an engine, put them together and then find a driver to make it all work. Granted, I know it was a lot harder than that, but doggone if it didn't work most times, and almost everyone had at least a chance to come up with something competitive and make all the others scratch their heads and wonder how. Next week it was their turn.
