08/28/03 Kevin Newman Dave hulse was WICKED FAST!! Unfortunately my most vivid memory was a wild flip down the back straight at Wall. When the car stopped flipping the motor continued across the grass into turn 3. That was some wild nite, as Sandy Riddle , during his heat LAUNCHED like a rocket deep into the Wall Township forrest.Even shook the announcer, Charlie Roberts. Thankfully everyone survived the nite. 02/19/04 Lewstor Hey Kevin - I was there that nite too!   It was the first time my dad took me to Wall and the last time till i got my license in 1975.  Wasn't that the same nite that Elliott's throttle stuck in the 2jr and he buried it between turns 2 and 3?
04/16/04 Terry Kelleher Dave Hulse had just left Woody Johnson's #68 modified when he became the chauffer of the 5.  I'm not all to sure but I think he may have been its owner as well.  Do you recall how Dave towed this car?  He trailered it behind his bright yellow 1962 Cadillac El Dorado Convertible !
Barry Hulse Barry Hulse I was there, too, the night Dave Hulse took that wild ride. Charlie Kremer was on the low side coming off of turn 2 and Dave went for the opening on
the outside. Charlie just moved up a little and Dave's left front caught Charlie's right rear and it pinched Dave up into the fence.

I never remember another car flying as high into the air as Dave's did. That was one of the worse rides I ever saw.  There was a picture of the car still sitting on the trailer wherever Dave kept his car the following week looking at the rear of the car in a local Pt. Pleasant newspaper. Square tubing roll cage was very collapsed. Dave was fortunate not to have been seriously hurt.

As for Sandy Riddle's ride, I was sitting with my dad, Stan, and Rick Sendzik that night.  We watched Sandy go by, and when he went into the first turn, Rick slapped my father and said "Throttle's hung", and we all watched him disapear into the woods. If I remember right, it was a full moon that night.

12/09/06 Mrnconway8 The car owner was Larry Harvey.  The car was later driven by Herman Versnel.  Larry is the brother of Howard Harvey who owned the 09 cars driven by Jamie Tomanio, Tony Hirshman and John Blewitt Jr.  Larry also owned a #44 coupe and a #4 Falcon that were driven by Howard.
