09/02/03 Tom Berry Could be Bucky Barker or Jim Martz.
09/02/03 TOM VROOM I KNOW THIS IS NOT ONE OF SONNY STRUPP'S CARS, BUT IT MAY BE JIMMY SPENCERS DAD'S CAR.  HE DID RUN A NUMBER 24 AT NAZARETH.    ED SPENCER DROVE A MOD IN EARLY 60'S
09/03/03 Warren The section of the grandstands in the photo was the start of the main grandstand which became quite larger.
09/05/03 Ned Stites Could it be the red 24 Will Cagle had?   Bucky Barker later purchased that car.
09/13/03 Jim Brewer I agree with Ned. Will drove this car at Reading in the very beginning of the modifieds at that track, so it would have to be about 1963 (very early 1964) if it is Cagle. I think that Cagle had this car originally and Barker drove it without repainting it for quite a while. I decided to look it up and there is a pic of Bucky with this car in the Ace Lane book. The caption indicates that it is 1966. In that photo the car has been re-numbered to 24 JR, but still bears signage advertising Tiona Petroleum of Pennsauken, NJ so the car hadn't been repainted. The caption also indicates that the car was totaled at Nazareth but doesn't give the year it was crashed.
09/26/03 Jim Young / RACESONGS I believe it is Jimmy Martz.....Jim Young / RACESONGS
04/12/04 Wayne Heiserman I believe the #24 is Don Miller.  Don raced at Dorney and Nazareth until a back injury halted his career.  The car was also blue at one time.  Don lived in Summit Hill PA.
10/31/04 Ned Stites I remember seeing Will Cagle with that red car and the white car at Flemington parked in the pits together. Bucky Barker had the car until he wrecked in it.
11/09/05 Tom in Allentown Since Will Cagle never ran a dark colored car....It must be the Buck. Thanks for the memories.
