| 01/31/03 | Russ Dodge | This is a Bob Farley photo of Busty Luzzo's #98 driven by Budd Olsen on his way to the 1958 NASCAR Modified championship. I think is it nice of people to post pictures that others have given them. However, it would be better if more information were submitted when it is readily available. Keep up the good work. | 05/08/03 | Jim Murrow | Busty Luzzo, the owner of this car, was a great guy. They ran a 5 night a week schedule, on both dirt and asphalt, to win the '58 championship. A couple years later, Busty "retired" from racing. I think a year or so later, he had a heart attack. While he was recouperating, in the hospital, his sons built him a new # 98 modified, and surprised him with it when he came home. Budd Olsen came back to drive the car. It was Marroon and white, instead of the previous red and white |
