Provider's comments: Frankie at the controls.  With Frankie taking a few laps this past year at New Egypt Speedway, I would say it is save to say that Frankie has been racing for at least 6 decades, maybe even 7!

12/24/02 Photo Nutt I saw Frankie take a sportsman car out in a heat race this year at NES, But he pulled off before they threw the green flag. I guess something was wrong with the car because he never came back out for the consi.
03/03/03 Todd L Frankie is a true legend and I did have the pleasure of watching him race but I wish it was in his prime. He may have won 60 some features in a season which may also be a record.
03/18/03 Bud I recall Frankie a few years prior to this photo. I think he always used the number 2. Earlier on, it was the "American Stores" car. I can't recall if it was at Oldbridge or Wall, but on one weekend, the car was brought to the grid by someone else and Frankie showed up from the stands in a full dress suit. He had been to a wedding... I think his own.
03/23/03 Mark Southcott Frankie Schneider #2 won hundreds of features at numerous tracks along with many titles. He also won Langhorne's National Open (later renamed the Race of Champions) twice in 1954 and 1962. He also won 15 Wall Modified features from 1950-1953 which is a tie with Doug Wolcott for 24th on that win list. Frankie was the 1969 Flemington Modified champion and won 4 Modified features there from 1957-1967. Frankie Schneider is estimated to have won 750 features from 1947-1977
12/31/04 Tom Tinsman This is the Sedan that many thought Frankie shared with Charlie Shire.

I remember one night at the Nazereth 1 1/8 mile Frankie was running a carburetor in this sedan and Will Cagle was running fuel injection, I'm not sure if Frankie won that night but he beat Cagle. After the race Cagle came over to Frankie's pit and took the carburetor off Frankie's car. Cagle wanted it for Langhorn which only aloud carburetors for there yearly event. The whole time Cagle was taking the carburetor off, Frankie stood there with a big cigar just telling Will he had 5 or 6 just like it back at his shop. I'm not sure how much, but I know Cagle gave him quiet a bit of cash for the carburetor. Those were some great times.

04/07/05 Dennis Di Brizzi I first saw him at weissglass stadium in 1953 He won the feature and I was hooked on stock car racing. When I started racing on dirt in 1967 I got to be  good friend with him use to pit with him and Charlie Shire. In 1968 I was running a small block limited sportsman it was the end of season and I wanted to go modified. He told me to bring the car to his place and he put his injectors on it. My biggest thrill in racing was in 1969 my car wasbroke and he was driving old bess and he let me take the sedan in the picture out in heat at Orange county.I started last and missed by one.
