05.18.13 DAVID E. FRAZER

Two comments on this photo. First, it seems that over the window is emblazoned "Devil's Bowl Speedway."  If  I'm not mistaken, that probably means Pete won the Langhorne Qualifier at what would have been the first or second year the Vermont track was open, and I'm pretty sure that, at age 9, I was there.  I loved the Langhorne Qualifiers, as they brought out all the Fonda and Valley hot shots.

Second thing about Corey:  I remember hearing that he had a wooden leg with a transistor radio embedded in it.  Perhaps not true, but a great story.

Corey was a great racer, winning all over the Northeast, including a Lebanon Valley 200 win back when that race attracted cars from western NY, NJ, PA and Canada.

12.09.18 James Precopia Have first movie of races at the horne.  Pete pushed Cagle down the frt turn.   Precopia was there.
