In the late 60's and early 70's, Fred Menschner and Ray Neary teamed
up and became a very formidable team. The car above is a former #327
that was driven by Walt Donald and Al Tasnady and then became a Piscopo #39
driven by Tas prior to Fred and Ray getting the car. With lessons learned by working side by side with legendary car owner and master mechanic Wally Marks, Fred and Ray were wiser than their age would indicate as they ran against many owners and drivers that in most cases were twice their age.... and on most occasions, that silver coupe with the red lettering could be found running near the front of the pack.... |
