What a great guy and a very competitive racer. He was one of the New Egypt gang, Gil Hearn, Bob Rossell, Frank Myroncuk, Jim Brown, Stubby Stevens, ect. Jack worked for his father as a frame/body man/welder in their repair/body shop business. Jack, Ray Neary and myself were in the same National Guard unit in Bordentown, NJ.

Jack loved talking racing. Anytime he was going to Trenton he would stop by our garage on Fulton street and trade racing stories.  Jack and his father Augie helped  Ray and myself many times straighten the frame on the #21 after a hard night of racing. As a racecar driver he had success on dirt and asphalt , as was the case in years past to run all surfaces with the same car. Jack was a good friend and a fellow racer that I looked up to for advice. He pasted on way too soon.

Fred, I remember Jackie running a coupe with a sloped down hood but I think that was 1970.   Do you know if the sedan is from '69?

09.18.13 Fred Menschner Joe, If I remember correct yes the sedan was from 69...Trenton speedway was still running back then and we were in the pits for a modified race and to help Jackie and he had that sedan it had rained and he asked me if I wanted to ride with him on the floor to go out and dry the track off, we made about fifty laps around the track at slow speed with me sitting on the floor next to him, what a thrill...Fred.
