Comments: Well, by the looks of George's trunk, the idea of putting "A couple of turns in it" takes on a whole new meaning!

Don't know if John Mc would let this pass tech today, but race driver, racecar lettering specialist, racing historian, vintage car restorer/collector George LeBlanc looks like he found a creative way to get a little more horsepower out of this little coupe.

For those of you who may have spent a few nights in Staten Island, George can handle all questions when it comes to Weissglass and the memories that were created there!

02/10/05 George LeBlanc When we were lined up for the Feature event, Starter Red Hamersly would climb down from the starters platform and come over and wind up my car. The kids in the stands thought that it actually made the car go faster. When I didn't have a top five finish they told me to wind it up some more in the next race. I still have that key today. Thanks, Joe.
12/02/06 Charles Edkins I was there on the track many times. Sometimes I made it to the end of the
race.  Also won a few.  Your fellow driver Charles Edkins 43x - Staten Island New York.
