03/12/05 William Young Hi joe, this looks like one of my photos (y&b photo).  I remember when the sedan was being built.  Tas had much to do with this.  Al new how to set up a race car.  I asked Rick Cozze once what happened to the #44 coach and he said it was crushed in the car crusher at there salvage yard.  Rick drove this car for a short time as a sportsman.
03/12/05 3-Wide This photo is quickly becoming a Vault Favorite.  Thanks for being there to take the picture Bill and thanks for capturing this little bit of history for us all.
12/01/05 George Dealaman The year is 1969,  Tas had 10 feature wins with 8 in the coach,   He won 5
times at Reading including the DANIEL BOONE 200, 2 times at Orange Country, (The All Star 100 when he beat Will Cagle and the Eastern States 200 when he came from 3rd on the white flag lap to win).Tas won opening day at Flemington in the coach and 2 times in the coupe, the former Piscopo 39. The win during the Fair was typical Tasnady charging from 21st to win the feature, I remember it like it was yesterday.

According to the site “Ed Flemke, com”, Eddie drove the Cozze coupe as a team mate to Al Tasnady in the Cozze sedan at the Orange County all-Star race held on 7/17/70.  The Flemke site is another great way (like 3Wide) to travel into racing’s past.
