Comments: | Comment from George Thode: I started racing owning a car in '61 with a '38 Ford sedan at Naz. We raced against Mario Andretti with his Hudson Hornet. In '65 I helped Harry Steinkopf as his welder-fab man, he came from SCCA sports cars. Lived in High Bridge, NJ. This is his pic, I think that it was at Naz, he quit in '72. |

12/25/05 | pilgrum | pilgrum here. the car in the back round looks like the Smithville Farmers #141 I think. |
12/26/05 | Chuck Hassler | This photo was taken at Reading. Clue is the fiberglass panels on the out side fence to cut down the noise on the track. This would place the photo at 1965 or later. [photo is taken towards turns 3 and 4 .] |
12/26/05 | Barry Pursell | I think Harry also ran at Harmony. One thing for sure he always had nice looking cars. I don't remember him in victory lane much but he was always in the thick of it. |
12/28/05 | John Mc | This car was later to be Joe Poliacik's 1st car. |
