| 09/02/06 | 3Wide | I wasn't around back then, but I these both look like 36 Chevy Coupes (Somewhere out there Bob Burd is proud of me...), and it looks like Budd and Tas are in a world of there own as everything else in this picture is out of focus... except them. | 09/03/06 | Walter Onora | What a classic picture!! Unfortunately never made it out to Reading Fairgrounds. In 1968 started to go to Flemington. I remember these two coupes very well. Two of my favorite drivers(as well as the coupes) Also, remember Joe Kelly in the Fodor 13 and Dick Havens in the 47. Among others like Hamilton, Schaible, and Don Stives. Those were indeed the good old days!!! |
