Comments: Lou Farina's great looking sedan above.  Really nice paint and lettering on this car.   Those of you who attend New Egypt Speedway see Lou's son behind the wheel of what else... his own #044!

09/24/06 Michael Kent I used to work @ a linc.-merc. dealership about 10 yrs. ago with a guy named Johnny Farina who had raced @ bridgeport.  Fun dude to have a round.  Same family??
09/24/06 3-Wide Don't know, but I did get to say hello to Lou Sr. at New Egypt on 9/23/06 and the car was from the Morrisville, PA area.  For some reason I thought Lou Jr. was from the Phila area.  Hopefully one of the Farina crew can straighten us guys out.

Either way, this is a really nice looking car.  Lou Sr. said he paid a guy $20 to do the lettering job!  I'd say he got more than his money's worth!
09/25/06 Lou Farina, Sr. Thank you for bring the photo to my attention. I really appreciated seeing it among the drivers I once raced. Fred Langevin built the car and Tom Carberry, Sr. helped build and maintain the motor.

To answer Mike's question, if he was a fun guy, maybe he is related. Our family was only in the Trenton and Egg Harbor, NJ areas. We have lost contact with our family that lives in Egg Harbor.

Lou, Jr does live in Phila at the present time, but was raised in Hamilton, NJ.
