01/27/07 Walter Onora Now that is what I call a neat looking coupe!! My other favorite Schneider mount is the sedan, Frankie drove in the late 60's and early 70's. Great cars!!!
01/28/07 Bob Hoffman Check out the square tubing for the roll cage.
01/28/07 3-Wide When did they outlaw square tubing?  Around 1971?  I don't know if there was any particular accident that led to the change, but it seemed like a good idea for a while there, but it didn't take long for them to realize that the square tubing wouldn't hold up like round pipe.
02/04/07 Dennis DiBrizzi This is the coupe known as old Bess. the only car he had with square tubing.
11.25.09 fltlnjok I just picked up going to the races again after nearly 35 years away.  Middletown still runs dirt, so I go up there. But, where we used to have 60 to 80 cars trying to get into 23 spots for the feature, there now about 30-35 trying for maybe 15-18 spots in the feature. Sad, but I'll settle.

I was at a snack bar which had a little plastic bucket of matchbox cars.  Guess what I found? This car!! The only one of about 30 or so in the bucket. Cost me a buck. I was like a 6 year old finding that little model. It sits on a bookshelf in my living room for everyone to see.

I believe the #31 coupe in the backround is Charlie Cregar, Chips Dad?
