Comment from Brian: The white #422, 55 or 56 chevy was
dads car before the yellow # 83 coupe. I believe # 422 was a sportsman,
while the #83 was a modified. Dad ran every week in Flemington, once in a
while in Nazareth and Harmony. He started racing for a car owner other than his. Don't remember the man's name, although Lee sticks in my mind. I know he had a business, machine shop I think, on the road off the back stretch of Flemington. The car was a red and white coupe #circle3. The photographer for the 2 black and white pics was a track photographer at Flemington. The color pics were taken by my grandmother, Helen Keiper, in Ringoes NJ. Both cars were from the 60's. Thank you - Brian Keiper |

03.05.09 | Charlie Miller | Wow , what a nice set of photos from a great era of racing ! Check out that home made trailer , I bet it got good traction with those " Diggers " on . I also bet it wasn't the only thing home made on these cars . Thanks for sharing . |
