Comments from George: Here's the Dawn Noble, #14 sedan
before and after. I can't remember who Donn bought the former #67 from.
We rebuilt this car and ran Grandview, Atlantic City, Flemington and once
tried a night at Reading, but got rained out. I was a young and wannabe race
driver and Donn gave me my first "ride" as I was able to participate in the
track packing process before hot laps at Grandview. What a thrill it was! Last time I spoke with Donn, he was down south (Alabama I think) building street rods. |

06.14.09 | 3Wide | I spoke to Donn about 3 years ago and I think he said that he was living in Arkansas, or somewhere out west. |
06.15.09 | George Gwynn | I think you're right.....it was Arkansas.....not Alabama. George Gwynn Frederick, MD |
06.16.09 | Larry Jendras Jr. | George, Where was the #67 from and what tracks did it race at? I have one photo of it at Dorsey Speedway in Md. It was painted blue and yellow but I don't know the driver's name. |
06.17.09 | George Gwynn | I'm not sure where the #67 came from. You're right,
though......the car was blue and yellow. I think the car came out of
Chester, PA but I'm not sure about that. Maybe we can get some help from other 3Wide visitors about this car. Thanks.....George Gwynn, |
11.09.09 | Dennis Hammerl | I saw this car (#14) at Grandview in '69. The owner (unknown to me) returned later the same year with a Corvair bodied car. The coach pictured here was not competitive when it ran Grandview. The design was dated even then. |
04.01.12 | Bill Nast | I can recall seeing this car go screaming by at Grandview
Speedway in 1969. It had a sound all it's own, and I believe I saw "Dodge"
on it somewhere. Would that be the body, or was it running a Dodge engine,
or both? Sure would love to find out what happened to it. This car so
impressed me, I am having a plastic model built of it! Bill Nast Yellow House, Pa. |

Does anyone know if this car still exists? |
