In the early 70's I schlepped with my family from Vermont all the way to Harmony for the opening race in mid-March. The PA announcer even acknowledged our presence. Neary won in the 21. Roy Pauch was 2nd, in the 15, I think. Tasnady broke while leading in the 39. |
