03/11/03 | Mark Yaple | The Sundowner #6 pictured here (1975) was originally campaigned as an orange #137 in '74 which was built, powered, and maintained by the legendary Sonny Dornberger. Jimmy was fast but inconsistent and won at East Windor in his self owned #82 and the Morley Speed Shop #241 in '73. |
01/23/05 | Sherri Dornberger | Yes, the car 137 was built and maintained by my dad. My dad would say that Jimmy would be a good driver if he got the link between his head and his gas foot connected, unfortunately it seemed he never quite found his connection. He was a really nice guy, that went back to his dads plumbing business in Wayne, NJ after his short driving career. |
