Comments: | I'm not sure if Frank was in this car yet. It looks to me like a big block sitting there and I think that this might be from around the time that Frank was actually running rookies (Sportsman), and I think there was also Rick Cozze who I think ran Sportsman as well?? I remember one night when Frank rolled a little white coupe just like this and they flipped it back on its wheels and he drove to the pits for a check up - and then got back in the race. |

03/09/03 | JMc | I think Bobby Pickell was driving this car at that time...... |
03/09/03 | Bill Hanna | Pretty sure this is a Cozze modified that may have been piloted by Bobby Pickell at the time. The photo is definately taken at Nazerath 1/2 mile as the background is turn 1. Bill Hanna Easton , PA |
04/10/03 | Harry Ladner | Looks like one of the cars Budd Olsen was driving for the Cozze Bros around that time, car was cream color.I have a picture of Budd in Cozze Bros 44 in 72 at Bridgeport . |
02/15/04 | Ron Wood | Frank's rookie year wasn't until 74 so it is his fathers car not him driving |
08/21/04 | Bucky Stevens | This car had a revolving door of drivers. Howie Cronce was driving it for awhile in the 70's, prior to the Mustang. This car became Frank' s rookie car in 76/77. It is pictured as a modified. Rick Cozze may have driven it also, I think he only ran the Vega bodied car. |
