Comments: I thought that this car was driven by Jean "Guy" Chartrand, but I Scott Pacich told me that it is probably Jim Shampine.  Either way, this was a really cool car for it's time - Any other info out there?

03/09/03 John Mc The year was 1974 and it was Jim Shampine driving. Thought Scott may like this shot.
03/10/03 Scott Pacich Any picture of the Cuda is worth seeing.... Scott Pacich
03/10/03 Bill Hanna There is no doubt that this is at the "Moody Mile" Just look at the weather conditions, wet, damp, and muddy, just the way we like it at Syracuse. Yeah, right.........Bill Hanna  Easton PA
02/09/04 Dave Medler Thats the cinder track just past where they enter the pits off of turn four.  Where you see the infield that paved road leads through the tunnel to take you to the granstand side of the track.
07/29/04 Steve Pados Great car, and motor.(Hemi)  Ed Cloce from Courtesy Chrysler owned this car and it was a gem.  Personally only saw Chartrand in the car and he could really wring it out. The Cloce name continues on the Featherlite Tour today. Tommy Cloce.  Steve Pados -  Car Quest Gasoline Alley
10/01/04 John Mc This shot was taken on the cinder track on the backstretch entering turn 3. There were so many cars that year(approx 250 MODIFIEDS!) that they had them pitted all the way around the track, and you could walk out there and look at the cars while they were running. That's when Syracuse was interesting! C ya, John
01/02/05 Kevin Varanyak I remember Jim racing the Hemi Cuda at Trenton NJ that year 1974 in the Race of Champions.  It was fast down the front straght!
09/23/06 Larry I WAS AT LANGHORNE IN 1970-1971 AND THIS CAR WAS DRIVEN CHARTRAND,IT WENT OUT IN TIME TRIALS AND BROKE ON THE FIRST LAP.IT LATER CAME BACK OUT AND BROKE THE TRACK RECORD FOR MODIFIEDS,AND HELD IT TO THE END.
