| 04/26/03 | Kevin Newman | Bob had a killer COACH that he raced at Wall Stadium. The car was bought and raced by Tom Green(22) then sold again and raced by Tommie Elliott as the ROARING 20. |
| 06/03/03 | Brian Loutrel | I loved all of Bob Rossell's #56 coupe modifieds. Bob raced this car in in 1972 along with a lower-slung #561 coupe. The 1972 #561 became the #56 in 1973 and it was Bob's regular car in 1973. Interestingly, Stan Ploski drove the Rossell #56 in the Flemington opener in 1973 when the Brenn #24 coupe blew its motor in its heat race. Stan finished third in the feature in a wild finish. My favorite Rossell #56 coupe was the 1975 version, with the same orange and black paint scheme but with a narrow coupe body (like the Norcia #81) and the BIG Firestone 500 drag tires with groves cut in them on the rear. Does anyone have a color photo of this car to post to the site? |
| 06/12/03 | Brian L | I found the picture I was looking for of Bob Rossell's 1975-1977 narrow coupe. It is on the New Jersey Dirt Racing website under the Conk photo page. It shows Rossell in victory lane at East Windsor. If memory serves me right, it was in 1975 that Rossell won a 50 lap modified feature at EWS. |

| 05/03/05 | Don W. | I vaguely remember Rossell running a #56 at Wall in the early 70's in which he had to tape the 6 to make the car number 55 during the feature. Anyone recall this??? |
