04/11/03 Bill Hanna I do believe this is the car in which Tighe Scott sheared off the roof when the Syracuse 100 was rescheduled in April of I believe 1977. There was a enormous wreck on the backstretch and Tighe tore the roof and part of the cage off the # 666. This wreck I believe is why Wayne went back to Florida to race Sprint Cars. Bill Hanna Easton PA
04/30/03 Chester Jones Jr I think this car was owned by "Ritter & Kleintop" and if I'm not mistaken Bobby Botcher drove for them before Wayne.  Wayne also drove the "Marinelli"  M1 Gremlin with much success which was also driven by Gary Balough .  And finally I'm sure Wayne drove a #3 Red and White coupe that was owned by a guy named "Blair" something, but I'm sure my Dad "Chet Jones" will know, another Modified legend from Orange County Fair Speedway in the familiar # 42 !.
04/24/05 M-B Pretty sure 1977's Schaefer 100 was postponed till April of 1978. Know for sure that Tighe Scott made Reutimann's mount a convertible in the 1978 Schaefer 100. Don't believe Wayne stuck around up North much longer after that race.
08/10/05 Robert Michaels Wayne is still driving in FL & GA.., He recently won a sprint car feature with the U.S.C..S.. His son Wayne Jr also running & U.S.A.C. silver crown series.
03/13/06 Rich Reinhart I believe Paul Blair owned the 3 coupe that Wayne drove.
04.27.12 CHIP  I remember Wayne in this Car and Gary Balough in the M1 put on one heck of 1977 season at Middletown, Gary won 7and Wayne won 2,with 15+ second place finishes which gave him the OCFS Speedway track title over Gary Balough "I miss those Days."
