| 07/13/05 | BigDogMacDaddy13 | One of the many great coupes owned and driven by Dave. I liked the Pontiac bodied coupe with the Indian head carved where the side back window was. This guy was one of the greatest innovators in modified racing. Remember how Jack Johnson dominated Syracuse in that Kneisel Chassis car. His home for many years was 5 Mile Point Speedway. We lost both Dave and Jimmy Shampine in the same weekend. It was a bad time for northest auto racing. |
