09/15/03 Jeff McClung Frank's 31k cars were a steady runner at Flemington and were one of the finest sedan type cars back then- always clean and kept nice!
12/05/03 Paul Garzillo Frank Kelly won the "reverse' race that the sportsman cars ran in the early 70's . I think there was a time limit on the race, rather than a lap count. It was really strange seeing them all go clockwise, but a fun event!
07/20/06 Rich Guy I lived on RT 523 between Seargentsville and Flemington when I was in highschool, and I knew when I saw the 31K tow past, I had to hurry up and finish cutting the grass and get over to track. Seeing that race car go by my house was the start of my Flemington race day experience on Saturdays.
07/21/06 3-Wide I know what you mean about seeing a racecar go by and knowing that it was Saturday...  and the sun was out... and you were only hours away from seeing what was our "Greatest Show on Earth."  Didn't get much better than that.
08/11/06 PM Some trivia...This particular car was piloted by a fellow named "Fuzzy" Fessenden. At this point Frank was the owner. I don't think he had driven yet. Year: 71-72.
08/12/06 3-Wide I kind of remember that PM...  Did Fuzzy also drive a #5 coupe at one point?
