Provider's comments: | Craig McCaughey in a Matt McMann sedan. Craig alway ran strong and I think won a 100 lapper in this car. I'm pretty sure that the body of this car (thanks John) was later reworked and repainted to become the hightailed #292 sedan driven by Al Michalchuk which is also featured in the Vault. |

12/30/02 | John Mc | This car actually was the same car w/ the Gremlin body that Michalchuk started driving for Matt. The sedan body may have gone on Michalchuk's own car, I'm not sure. It wasn't the same car, though. You're right about the 100 lap win, it was the July 4th race. Thx, JMc |
08/2/03 | Mike Monnat | Believe it or not! Maynard Troyer once drove for the McMann's. It was the 1970 Flemington All Star race and Maynard didn't want to run his asphalt car (which he ran the previous night at Wall Stadium) so he picked up a ride in the McMann #4 for Flemington. As I recall it wasn't an overwhelming success. - Mike Monnat |
