| 02/03/03 | Russ Dodge | Just a comment on the number. I always find it interesting why certain numbers are chosen. Bob always ran number 4 on his cars. I asked him about the number 56. I recall he told me he was painting a car he had just finished and there was a friend in his garage who was having a birthday and was going to be 56. So thus the number. Bob is a creative person, heck of a good fabricator and driver. I'm so glad he is being recognized for his achievements and contribution to racing. Thanks, Russ Dodge |
| 02/03/03 | 3-Wide | I saw Bob at this years MotorSports show. I don't want to give him any ideas, but it looked to me like he could put the suit and helmet back on and get right back out there! It was nice to be able to say hello to him and let him know that like many, I appreciated the years of enjoyment that he provided and always thought his cars, and his driving, were always special. |
