12/08/03 | Mark Yaple | The 28 was owned by the late Bill McConnell
who fielded winning midgets and sprint cars post WWII through the 60's before campaigning this modified. Tom Eppolite also spent time in the seat of the 28 in the early seventies before Bill became the head wrench of the Slocum CL22 driven by grandson Tommy and Sandy Rochelle. |
