01/22/05 | Bill Beasley | He should have kept the dirt! |
01/22/05 | 3-Wide | I don't know if it would have lasted forever, but it
would have been nice to have gotten a few more years out of it with the dirt surface.
Seemed to me if ownership was under so much pressure from the EPA and others that
they could have asked the racing community to support their efforts to keep the track open
as a dirt speedway and rally against those who allegedly were putting the pressure on to
pave it.... Instead, they paved it before any discussions could take place.... Makes me think the decision to pave was based more on the desire to maximize the value of the facility in their eyes at the time rather than any specific "outside" pressure. The #42 was always a favorite of me and my father as it was a car that we only got to see run at Flemington. Thanks for the memories Bill. |
12/01/05 | SARACINO RACING | BILLY did a great job for us in the years he drove for us. We knew Billy from back in the 60's when he was driving 1/4 midgets, an was a good driver then, a very good friend. SARACINO RACING: Tony, DEE, BOB & DAN |
02/12/06 | Tom Kelly | I was wondering if anyone knows about Billy Beasley. He drove car number 115 for my company when I was a kid. I know he had a good career from then on. It was for Earls Auto Sales in Fairless Hills, Pa. |
