Comments: Thanks to Dave for pulling this one out of the shoebox!  I must have been sitting about 3 rows behind Dave when he snapped this shot of the overflowing pits at Flemington.  Bob Pickell, Red Coffin and others would have to pit between the inside guardrail and the chain link pit fence due to the amount of competitors on hand!  (One of the great things about Flemington was that if the action slowed on the track, there was always something to catch your attention in the infield).

12/25/02 Dave Spurlin Remember When?  Remember when the pits used to overflow? Here's Bob Pickell in the #80 at Flemington on one such night. I'm not sure exactly what year this is but I hadn't seen this car for awhile at the time and I believe it was the last time I did see it. I'll guess it was 1975.
12/25/02 3-Wide This might be the car that Scott Pacich referred to in one of his articles a few months back.  (Owner's name might have begun with an "E" - info needed visitors...thanks)
12/27/02 Scott Pacich That is Lou Inzeo's beautiful number 80. I heard from Lou last week, and he gave me a number to call him at. I intend to, and will hopefully get enough good stuff from him to put a column together...
