My brother Gerard just left for home in Washington DC but
before he did we dug up many photos he took from the same event of many
[individual shots] of the cars in these two photos. Very interesting mix of
race car styles during this Eastern States event. "Those Were the Days"!
Great photo - Great times for Modified racing.

A larger version of the top photo would look great
hanging in my home office! Reminds me of Paul Irving or Charlie Lindmar's
artwork. I wish that I had the same seats as this photo at that Eastern
States back in 1973, but my brother and I got to the show late with our
friends. We had to sit in turn 4 way down low, but still had a great time. |
