Comments: This was the view for anyone who sat in sections 1 - 4 in the first turn at Flemington Speedway.  Looks like a modified heat race with Paul Rochelle out in front...  A photo like this reminds us of the variety of cars and the view we all had of the driver's gripping the wheel...

03.07.10 Charlie Miller SWEET!!! Great photo, yes they still had variety in the 70's. Looks like a Pinto, Mustang , Gremlin, Coupe, and Falcon. And if you look close several different driving styles.
03.11.10 Walter Onora That picture describes Flemington to a tee!! Always sliding around those turns!! I, to this day miss that track!!
04.12.10 Joseph Crisefi They were the best seats in the house for sure. And this is one of a few very good shots looking into the first turn at Flemington. And you see where Ploski's right rear tire is going? Right into that groove worn into the racing surface. Wonder how many laps in a row he ran that thing right through that same spot?

Notice everyone in the stands looking towards our great seats.
