Comments: Sportsman driver Joe Kelly drove this little #13 in the sportsman division at East Windsor and at Flemington.  Back in the day, this was one of the only cars that had a white frame, suspension and wheels, and I remember as a kid thinking how it made the car look lighter compared to all the other cars on the track that usually had black painted frames and black suspension.

The color combination was very unique and would resurface in the racing world in the 2000's at New Egypt Speedway with driver's Kim Cook, Mark Rinale (sp?) and eventually Steve Davis driving similarly color/number cars under the "Pop's Racing" name.

Does anyone else remember an opening night at East Windsor, the PA system didn't work, and on the backstretch of the first lap of the first sportsman heat Joseph Kelly caught a wheel and his #13 flipped over the fence in front of the backstretch bleachers?
