Comments: Comment:  Great Kodak 110 shot from the 3rd turn bleachers at Flemington of Flemington Sportsman action, 1973.  Car counts in the sportsman division were at their highest around this time, with probably well over 60 sportsman signed in every Saturday night.

12.24.14 Kevin Dexheimer Not sure if the #2B was "recycled" but the Russ Thatcher #7 was an old #808.   Donny Frank #55 was an old Hartman #24.
12.24.14 3-Wide What about the #2K Kev?  Was that a former runner or was it built from scratch?
12.26.14 Kevin Dexheimer The 2k was former Horton 43 Beavers won many races and 1971 Flemington title with. Winter 72, 73 Jim Sr and Jimmy built Jimmy's coupe and rebuilt the car I bought. When Sam ran it, it had a 37 or 38 chevy body. Grbac came up with the 39 Chevy body for it. Long story short for $1500 I had a complete car minus engine! A couple of warranty deals at the local chevy dealership where I was employed and we had enough parts for an engine. Jimmy built that and we were ready.
