Comments: Comment:  I knew there were two of these Falcon's, but I'm not sure if I knew that there were three...  It sure looks like another blue Hager Falcon facing the other direction on the left.

I'm not sure why Howie was in the #43 on this day but my guess would be that it was tied into that both cars had John T. Burnett on the hood.

01.03.14 Jack Kromer

That third Hager 43 might be Tom Soloe 4T3. He bought one of Tom’s old cars. Howie did talk at the FSHS meeting about running Hager’s car one night at Nazareth. I think he said something like: Hager didn’t think Burnett could get his new car built in a few days and if they did, Howie could run either it at Nazareth. They got it done on time. I think Howie mentioned how generous Hager was, too. He told Howie that night to choose whatever tires and gears he wanted and Hager would run what's left. Cronce did mention that most drivers wouldn’t do that, but Tommy did and he respected him so much for it.
