| Comments: | Comment: Dave Gunther paces the field into turn one at Flemington. At this point (1974?) the driver's still respected that their was an inside apron... It wasn't long after that where drivers started using more and more of the apron until within a matter of a year or so this picture being taken, the track surface became from the inside boards all the way to the outside fence. |
