11.14.15 | 3Wide | Just checked and you're right. I would have lost that bet. For some reason I thought Pintos and Vega's both came out in '72 but they didn't. The earliest the photo above can be is the very end of the 1973 season or sometime early in the 1974 season. The reason I can be sure about that is there is a picture in our trivia section of a group of cars at EWS and one of the cars is the #292 Michalchuk coupe, however it is the #292 after Al sold it to Lenny Martin Jr. |

You "3Widers" never cease to amaze me on your combined knowledge of our racing's past. I helped Chic put the Tobias frame together and mount the Vega body. My only excuse on getting the time period wrong is the being born in 1949. |
