Comment: This picture is a little bit of a mystery to me.
I remember Gary driving the pink #9 coupe owned by Richard Ege, followed by
the Mulligan built pink #9 Gremlin, which was sold to the Ferraiuolo's and
became the #73.... I am not sure where this car fit in, other than
that maybe there was a brief time before Gary started driving the Gremlin
#73 that he drove the sedan above... or maybe they ran both cars (#73 sedan
and the #73 Gremlin at some point. I'm also guessing on the year of
the photo as being 1974, but I could be wrong on that too! What am
sure of is that's Gary... That's the Ferraiuolo #73, and that's the pits at
East Windsor Speedway. Working our way through the pits, there's the #2B of Dom Buffalino, the #50 of Jay Stong, the #PDQ of Mike Tasek (sp?), (not sure of the greenish/grey coupe), the #137 of Jim Goedeke, and the #11-7 of George Ault. |
