Comment: Probably the most dominant team in the early 70's was
Stan Ploski behind the wheel of the Ken Brenn Sr owned #24. The two
teamed up near the end of the 1971 season, and would win a ton of races over
the next 2 years, before splitting up before the end of the 1973 season.
I don't know what their winning % was, but I would put it up against any
other owner/driver combination that lasted for a year or more. The car above is one of the Floyd Trevis built cars that were in the Brenn stable. In addition. Other cars at this time included the original Olsen Coupe that became the Ken Brenn Jr rookie car, and also a sleek looking Gremlin (with luggage rack) that was built to Ken Brenn Sr.'s specs by Bob Rossell. |
